Panchamrutha Abhishekam with Sri Rudram

Panchamrutham – milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar – is offered to the Lord while the priests chant Sri Rudram, one of the most powerful Vedic hymns to Lord Shiva. Offered during Karthika Masam, the most sacred month for Shiva worship, it is performed for good health, long life, peace of mind, relief from doshas and obstacles, and harmony in the family.
